The afternoon of our second day we made the 10 minute trip north to Ruby Beach. What made this beach different and worth the effort to load everyone into the car was the amazing rocks sticking up out of the water called sea stacks. Some were way out from shore and others were on the shore and the kids had a grand time climbing all over them. One large sea stack even has trees and other vegetation growing on it.

The holiday makers at the beach.
(Don't the British have the best way of saying things?)

Gram (aka Kathy).
Notice how far down the trees come to the beach.

Barrett's not sure how he got into this photo.
