Goin' Buggy

Brynne made her theatrical debut on Wednesday in the second grade play "Goin' Buggy."  She was an ant.  Out of the roughly 100 kids in the second grade, she was included in about a quarter of them who had actual speaking parts.  She did a great job and did well with speaking loudly and enunciating for the most part.  Some of the kids were impossible to understand.  The play was originally supposed to take place on May 6th, but got moved back due to the school closures because of the swine flu.  I think it was a blessing in disguise to the women who were sewing the costumes.  I roped my Mom into sewing six of the beetle costumes.  She spent about 3 days working on them.

Brynne before the show.

Blythe reading the program.

Brynne is the ant on the left.
My Mom sewed the beetle costumes on the right.

Brynne's in the middle.

I took a short video of just Brynne's speaking part.  First the child next to her is speaking but then passes the microphone off to Brynne.

wow those costumes look great. the last three plays my kids were involved in i had to send $5 to school to purchase the t-shirt with the logo of the particular play on it. (kinda lame, but a whole lot easier)

Brynne did awesome.

Fancy costumes for a school play. Oh yeah that school is NOT located in Tooele County. That it explains it. Brynne did really well, I could definitely understand her, not so much the kid before her.
