Why I Have Not Been Blogging

Yes, once again my Mom has been commenting on my lack of posts. I can't really figure out why I don't have time to blog. I mean I haven't been doing much reading, or baking, or cooking dinner and my house is far from spotless.

This is what I have been doing:
I have been walking the dogs at 6:30 every morning (except for today because Justin was actually home past 6:00 a.m. and took them out for me), and three of those mornings Ruby came home reeking of skunk so I had to bathe her in a solution of hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and dish soap followed by her regular shampoo.
I've been getting the girls up and out the door by 7:35 a.m.
I've been taking Caddie out to pee and watching her while she plays outside because we can't train her on the electric dog fence for another six weeks or so.
I did steam clean my entire refrigerator the first week the girls were back in school.
I started to organize the laundry room.
Last week I deep cleaned the family room, moved all the furniture so I could vacuum behind and under everything and steamed the floors.
I deep cleaned the kid's bathroom because Justin's brother Chris and his kids spent one night with us when they were in town for Justin's Grandpa's funeral.
I've done countless loads of laundry.
I helped put on a Primary Activity.
I've prepared and presented two Sharing Times.
I went to Moab with Brynne and Barrett and the dogs over Labor Day weekend with my parents and Peter and his kids and dog. Justin took Blythe backpacking in the Wind Rivers. Brittney went to St. George with some of her college roommates for a Girl's Weekend.
Oh, and let's not forget soccer: Blythe and Barrett on Mondays, Brynne on Wednesdays, Barrett on Thursdays and Blythe and Brynne on Saturday mornings.
Blythe and Brynne also begged to take volleyball so that's every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
Right, and I signed up for Puppy Class which is on Wednesday evenings.
The first morning I had Barrett in preschool I had a two hour Primary Meeting.
I've been back to school shopping for the kids. Blythe had already outgrown her sneakers I bought her in the Spring. I'm now buying that girl a women's size 9!
I spent one Saturday morning cleaning the preschool with my steamer, after forgetting to attend the mandatory preschool parent's meeting the Wednesday before. In my defense I did not receive the reminder e-mail that was sent out.
Yesterday I co-oped at the preschool from 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Throw in a few trips down to Salt Lake to go Costco and to take Barrett and James to Nathan's awesome pirate themed 5th birthday party and you know why I haven't had much time to spend on the computer.

Just because I can't have a photo-less post here are a couple shots of my hollyhocks that finally bloomed for the first time this year. (This was supposed to be a post in and of itself, but it didn't happen).

You are WAY too busy! May I recommend a book? It's called Berenstain Bears and Too Much Pressure :)

AMEN to both the above posts. Jill! Your steamer needs to be taken out to a nice dinner and given a massage. So do you.
