Barrett was long overdue for a haircut. His bangs had gotten so long that it was hard to see his eyes. They were becoming a real problem during his swimming lessons. I finally scheduled an appointment and made the trip down to Salt Lake to have his hair cut. He was so good and cooperative and even wore the cape without any fuss, that it made me reflect back the first few times I had his hair cut and what an ordeal it was. He really is getting to be a big boy!

A before shot riding on Granddad's shoulders.
This was still about 3 weeks before it was finally cut.

It was long enough for his sisters to give
him this crazy hairdo!

Here's the after photo. My Mom
thinks I didn't get enough cut off.

She's probably right. I always tell the girl to cut
it with scissors and do a shag. Justin likes to
keep Barrett's hair on the long side and that is
our compromise. However, I am thinking of
getting it cut nice and short with the clippers for
the summer. The only problem is Barrett seems to
prefer it longer too. He's been complaining that
he doesn't like his short hair.

we have these same issues- I know it's time to cut christopher's hair when I can't see his eyes. It makes it worse that it gets curlier the longer it gets, and I love the curls!
